Director – Autism Education Trust

Salary - £36,227 - £46.605

The Autism Education Trust works to improve educational opportunities for children with autism. Working across England, it is a partnership of organisations and individuals with an interest in autism and the development of the children's workforce. Members are drawn from across the third, public and private sectors. It is hosted by the National Autistic Society on behalf of the partnership.

Following the commitment of the DfE to the Trust's work for the next 2 years, we are seeking a Director with the drive, skills and experience to lead this exciting stage of the Trust's development. With a background in workforce skills development and/or education of children with special needs, you are experienced in managing large, complex projects and in galvanising the support of key stakeholders. Naturally, you must have a commitment of the values of the Trust and to working with young people with autism to take their views into account.
