Dear friend, The AET has recently been successful in bidding for a capacity building grant from the DfE. The bid was informed by an independent review which identified a number of areas which could be developed to ensure the sustainability of the AET and its programme when the grant funded Theme 3 programme is completed in March 2013. As a result of this successful bid we are letting two contracts to carry out this work:
1. Building the capacity of the AET for post March 20132. To secure accreditation for the AET training programme Please click on the relevant link above.
When you look at the accreditation brief, you will see that it is closely linked to the brief for the Competency Framework the tender of which we let last month. It builds on this brief and provides further funding to support the accreditation process. Because of this we are combining the two briefs in the selection process that we have already announced for the Competency Framework. Bidders will be strongly encouraged to apply for both. However, bidders who have already submitted their application for the competency framework will not have to resubmit their bid to include the qualifications brief as we will discus this with them during the selection process. If you have any questions, please ring Steve Huggett on 07435 752 169 or Sarah-Jane Critchley on 07827 283 497 Kind regards, Steve HuggettDirector, AET
