Dear Friend As you may know, the AET has recently undergone changes to its Governance structure. We now have two Governance bodies, which are the Programme Board and the Expert Reference Group, and these have replaced the three previous groups. Following the recent appointments to the Programme Board and the Expert Reference Group we still have several vacancies and therefore the AET is once again seeking expressions of interest from individuals who are interested in actively contributing to the work of the AET. Please note that this includes two vacancies on the Expert Reference Group because two of its previous members have joined the Programme Board.The Terms of Reference (please click) describe the roles of these groups in further detail and the specific knowledge, skills and experiences the Trust is seeking to secure in each of the groups as well as the positions that are still available. The Programme Board will meet bi-monthly and the Expert Reference Group quarterly. It is essential that prospective group members are fully committed and able to attend these meetings for at least the next 2 years. The AET is able to offer Programme Board members an attendance fee of £125 per day plus expenses and Expert Reference Group members expenses only. The cheapest suitable Standard Class rail fares apply. Should you wish to apply for membership, please send a copy of your CV and no more than one side of A4 outlining what skills and experience you would bring to the role and which group you wish to be considered for, as well as written confirmation of your abilities to fulfil the commitments of the role/s as outlined in the Terms of Reference.
