Hello,
I am writing with news of The Autism Education Trust’s training events for 2011, the first of which is taking place in York on 10th February at The Royal York Hotel.
This one-day event will be an excellent opportunity to learn new skills and share good practice around effective ‘whole-school’ strategies for pupils on the autism spectrum – an invaluable day for all education, health and social care professionals working with children and young people on the autism spectrum, as well as parents of children with autism.
We have secured a superb line-up of speakers, including Yorkshire based Jilly Davies (The Robert Ogden School) and Gill Capaldi (Rotherham Autism Communication Team), who will be delivering a number of inspirational sessions. There will also be some smaller and one-to-one advisory sessions and an interactive panel discussion that we hope will provide some lively debate to round the day off.
