How do you manage your free time?
It is important to schedule time to do the things you enjoy as well as work or study.
Allow yourself to spend your free time on the things you enjoy when you have completed your homework, study or work.
Try to balance your free time to include a range of types of activities – you might want to spend some time with friends, some time at a club or doing a hobby and some time relaxing watching TV or looking on the internet – it is good to vary the way you spend your free time rather than doing too much of one thing.
It can be good to go to a regular club or social activity each week, so that you know that at that time each week, that is what you will be doing.
If you want to go out with friends, ask them when is convenient and agree a time and date.
If you have a diary, put your leisure and social activities into it. You might colour code your schedule – so you have one colour for school / work and a different colour for hobbies / social activities.
