First News, the leading children’s newspaper, is running the My Way! campaign throughout 2010 to highlight the importance of recognising that every child learns differently. It is estimated that around one in five pupils have additional learning needs and the My Way! campaign is trying to raise awareness of the challenges some children face at school, and promote ways in which we can help every child learn and succeed.
Two members of the Autism Education Trust’s Youth Council have helped the My Way! campaign by writing their own personal accounts of school and living with autism. You can read them here:
