We are very excited to be about to launch our new autism training programme across England. Level 1 training has been successfully piloted this term and will be available in full from April. Schools can apply to take part now via their local hub – find out more here. You are also invited to take part in the consultation on the new set of National Autism Standards that are being developed. Consultation closes on 6 March – find out more here.
We also have some new invaluable autism specific resources available, including a DVD all about diagnosis created for young people on the spectrum by a group of young people on the spectrum –read more here. Our 100% Awesomes peer awareness resource pack and the Tools for Teachers resource pack are both now also in stock so you can order your copy now.
We will be exhibiting at the Education Show at the NEC in March, so if you are planning to visit, we do hope to see you there.

Schools across England can now sign up for the new AET three-tier autism training programme - contact your nearest training hub to register.
The University of Birmingham has been appointed by the AET to develop a national accreditation in autism education. You are invited to take part in the consultation process on this.
The AET's new DVD about diagnosis has been made by a group of young people on the autism spectrum, who share their experiences of receiving a diagnosis.
The new comic book themed peer awareness teaching resource, 100% Awesomes is now in stock.
The AET's invaluable resource for teachers working with pupils with autism is now available to order.
