AET National Conference 2009: 'Sharing Good Practice'
01/01/01
The Autism Education Trust (AET) is holding a one-day conference to
promote collaboration between the various stakeholders in autism
education. The event will bring together educational providers, local
authority representatives, health professionals, adults and young
people with autism, parents and carers. Delegates will be able to meet,
share experiences and discuss good practice.
The AET believes
that all children and young people on the autism spectrum should
receive an education which enables them to reach their individual
potential to engage in society as active citizens (and that
individuals, families and professionals are informed, supported and
equipped to enable this to be achieved).
Through a combination
of plenary and seminar sessions, the conference aims to inform
delegates about current challenges in delivering autism education in
England, as well as offering practical solutions and advice.
