Thanks to your support, the series of roadshow events we held duringApril and May were a great success. For those of you who found time toattend an event, thank you very much for your valuable contributions. And for those of you who were not able to come, please keep in touchand let us know if you have any specific thoughts about the futuredevelopment of the AET.
At most of the roadshows we showed a DVD made by Rory Hoy, a young man with Asperger syndrome. Autism and Me can be viewed on YouTube by following this link or can be purchased online from Jessica Kingsley publishers.
One of the common themes which people raised at each of the eventswas how to find out about autism-related support groups and services byarea. The National Autistic Society has developed an Autism Services Directory which lists autism-related services by region and area. It can be accessed online. If you know of a service which is not currently listed, email the NAS Information Centre.
Areport has been produced which captures the contributions made bydelegates at our roadshow events, and we are now in the process oftranslating it for publication on this website. This feedback has beeninvaluable in finalising our plans for a second year. We will sharethis information online as soon as we are able to, so please keepchecking here for updates.
