Can you help with research about mainstream primary to secondary transition phase

Supporting children on the autism spectrum in mainstream education
Great Ormond Street Hospital would like to hear from parents of children with autism about their experiences of transition from primary to secondary schools. Seonaid Anderson, Research Psychologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital, is holding a series of focus groups to find out more from families who have been through this transition, are going through it at the moment or who are due to go through it in the next year. The research will be used to better inform mainstream education services about what can be a very difficult period of change for children and young people on the autism spectrum.

If you would like to find out more about the focus groups, which are being held in July in Central London, please contact Seonaid Anderson on 020 7905 2169 or email her at s.anderson@ich.ucl.ac.uk. Children are welcome to attend the focus group sessions.

Alternatively, you can give Seonaid your views by filling in the online questionnaire.
