If you know someone who does an outstanding job in supporting a child or young person with autism, why not nominate them for an AET Autism Star Award? Launched at the beginning of this year, the AET Autism Stars have been recognising and celebrating the outstanding contribution of individuals in creating an autism friendly culture, either in education or community settings.
Recent and highly deserving recipients of AET Autism Silver Star Awards were the team from Luton Borough Council’s Integrated Services for Children with Additional Needs (Education). Julie Bleaden, Tricia Loveman, Yvonne Simpson, Karen Thomas and Shabana Hussain were presented with their certificates by Martin Pratt, Director of Children & Learning (pictured).
