INTRODUCTION TO THE AET PROGRESSION FRAMEWORK

This training provides an overview of the new AET Autism Progression Framework 2.0 and how to gain maximum benefit from its use. The progression framework is available to download free from the AET website. Please bring a laptop with you if possible so you can access this during the training.

 

This half-day session is suitable for practitioners working with autistic children and young people of all ages in mainstream or specialist early years, schools or post 16 settings.

 

Participants will develop:

  • Understanding of how the progression framework relates to the broader educational context
  • Familiarity with the content and key features of the progression framework
  • Skills in identifying learning goals and measuring progress for children and young people on the autism spectrum in areas specific to their individual needs

Please Note: Ticket charges apply to staff who work in other boroughs and private nursery, school and college staff only.  This training is free for staff from Enfield schools, academies and sixth forms.  There are no charges to Enfield schools or academies, as EASA’s core training programme is funded by Enfield Council via the SEN Outreach Provision Budget and the High Needs Block funding.
