AET Early Years Extending and Enhancing Good Autism Practice 2nd & 9th December 2020 – Online via Zoom

2nd December 2020 @ 3:30 pm - 9th December 2020 @ 5:00 pm GMT

This module is designed to build on the learning developed through ‘good autism practice’ by enabling delegates to deepen their understanding of autism and the implications for practice.  This training is for staff who have already attended and completed the AET Early Years Good Autism Practice training course previously.

This course has been split into two twilight sessions, which will run over two weeks from Wednesday 2nd December to Wednesday 9th December 2020 from 3.30pm to 5.00pm. Please sign up below if you can commit to both sessions.

The course will be delivered online via Zoom. For private nursery staff/childcare professionals, non-Enfield staff and private school staff only: Please book a ticket below and then register for the Zoom meeting by clicking the link below. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. Enfield staff can book a free ticket below using a coupon code to access the free resources linked to this training. See below for more details.

This training will support practitioners working directly with children on the autism spectrum or on the pathway to a diagnosis in early years settings.

The training will:

  • enable practitioners to extend and enhance their knowledge and understanding of good autism practice.
  • enable practitioners to reflect on their own practice and share this more widely across settings or with partners i.e., families and other professionals.
  • develop practitioners understanding of the graduated approach and how this can support children on the autism spectrum.

To book a place on this course, please add the below ticket to your basket and create an account if you do not already have one.  This event will only allow you to purchase one ticket, as each ticket should be booked by the individual user/delegate.

Please Note: Ticket charges apply to private nursery staff/childcare professionals, non-Enfield staff and private school staff only.  This training is free for staff from Enfield schools and academies.  There are no charges to Enfield schools or academies, as EASA’s core training programme is funded by Enfield Council via the SEN Outreach Provision Budget and the High Needs Block funding.

Enfield school staff – Please contact admin@enfieldasa.org.uk for a free ticket coupon code.  This coupon code can only be used once per individual user.
