The leading good autism practice training split into four twilight sessions is for staff who have a leadership role that includes responsibility for developing provision for children on the autism spectrum within an early years setting.

The sessions will run over four weeks from Wednesday 21st April to Wednesday 12th May 2021 from 3.30pm to 5.00pm.  Please sign up below if you can commit to all four sessions.

Who is this training for?

This training brings lead practitioners from a range of organisations together to discuss, share and develop practice and understanding. It will enable leading staff to understand autism and create an outstanding early years setting whether or not they work directly with young children on the autism spectrum.

What will you learn?

The training will:

  • enhance staff knowledge and understanding of good autism practice.
  • help staff question, evaluate and develop practice within their setting.
  • provide staff with the tools to evaluate their own knowledge of autism, to audit staff training needs and to gain an overview of whole setting practice using the AET early years autism standards and autism competency framework.

This course will be delivered online via Zoom. Please book a ticket here to receive the free resources and then register for the Zoom meeting by clicking the following link. https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJcvd-murjMpGdSr5Lvfj6qY4eFfK-DxUHiP
