This one day session focuses on training for staff in specialist settings who support pupils on the autism spectrum who have complex needs. It aims to deepen participants’ understanding of autism and ways in which they can support pupil participation, including development of their personal and EHC plans.
This course will be delivered online via Zoom on Friday 27th November from 9.00am to 3.30pm. Who is this training for?
This session covers similar ground to the ‘extending and enhancing good autism practice’ module. The course is more focused on practitioners working with school-age pupils on the autism spectrum with complex needs in specialist settings. This may include teachers, teaching assistants, SENCOs and the team around the pupil.

Please Note: Ticket charges apply to school staff who work in other boroughs and private school staff only. This training is free for staff from Enfield schools, academies and sixth forms. There are no charges to Enfield schools or academies, as EASA’s core training programme is funded by Enfield Council via the SEN Outreach Provision Budget and the High Needs Block funding.
Enfield staff do not need to book a free ticket below as there are no free resources linked to this course.
