The Complex Needs and Participation training split into four twilight sessions focuses on staff in specialist settings who support pupils on the autism spectrum who have complex needs. It aims to deepen participants’ understanding of autism and ways in which they can support pupil participation, including development of their personal and EHC plans.
The sessions will run over four weeks from Wednesday 9th June to Wednesday 30th June from 3.30pm to 5.00pm. Please sign up below if you can commit to all four sessions.
Who is this training for?
The course is more focused towards practitioners working with school-age pupils on the autism spectrum with complex needs in specialist settings. This may include teachers, teaching assistants, SENCOs and the team around the pupil. This course is similar to the ‘Extending and Enhancing Good Autism Practice’ module.

Please Note: Ticket charges apply to private childcare professionals, school staff who work in other boroughs and private school staff only. This training is free for staff from Enfield schools, academies and sixth forms. There are no charges to Enfield schools or academies, as EASA’s core training programme is funded by Enfield Council via the SEN Outreach Provision Budget and the High Needs Block funding.
Enfield staff do not need to book a free ticket below as there are no free resources linked to this course.
