Who is this training for?

This session is suitable for practitioners working with school-age pupils on the autism spectrum in mainstream schools. This includes teachers, teaching assistants, SENCos and lunchtime supervisory assistants. This training is only for delegates who have already attended and completed the AET Schools Good Autism Practice training course.
Practitioners in special schools who work with pupils with complex needs should undertake the one day complex needs module when the next session becomes available.

What will you learn?

The training will:

  • Enable practitioners to explore theories of autism and consider the implications for practice.
  • Provide practical strategies to support practitioners as they develop their knowledge, skills and understanding of effective autism practice.
  • Enable practitioners to reflect on their practice and share their enhanced knowledge more widely across their organisation.

To book a place on this course, please add the below ticket to your basket and create an account if you do not already have one.  This event will only allow you to purchase one ticket, as each ticket should be booked by the individual user/delegate.

Please Note: Ticket charges apply to school staff who work in other boroughs and private school staff only.  This training is free for staff from Enfield schools, academies and sixth forms.  There are no charges to Enfield schools or academies, as EASA’s core training programme is funded by Enfield Council via the SEN Outreach Provision Budget and the High Needs Block funding.

Enfield staff do not need to book a free ticket below as there are no free resources linked to this course.
