Who is this course for?

All school staff, including support staff, admin staff, caretakers and lunchtime supervisors, particularly in schools working towards the GAIQM quality mark.

What does this course cover?

  • What is autism?
  • How does it impact on CYP
  • Some basic strategies will be covered.

Course aims

A one hour whistle stop tour of autism, as a starting point for settings to be able to consider whole school approaches to supporting CYP, Participants will gain a basic understanding of autism, and some strategies to help CYP.
