Deepen your understanding of autism and ways in which you can support pupil participation, including the development of their personal and EHC plans.

 

Who is this training for?

For staff in specialist settings who support pupils on the autism spectrum who have complex needs.  This may include teachers, teaching assistants, SENCOs and team around the pupil.

 

What will you learn?

  • To extend your understanding of autism in relation to pupils with complex needs.
  • Practical strategies to develop your knowledge, skills and understanding of effective autism practice.
  • To reflect on and evaluate your own practice in relation to EHC planning for pupils with complex needs.

 

Please note that the Enfield Advisory Service for Autism offers these modules at no cost to Schools in Enfield that are part of the Local Authority ‘buy back’ scheme only!!
