PRIVATE: AET Schools Making Sense of Autism (Enfield & Barnet PATOSS only)

Gain a better understanding and awareness of autism and the way it affects pupils in School.

Who is this training for?

The training is for staff working in mainstream and special schools.  This includes:

Teachers, teaching assistants, transport staff, lunchtime staff, senior management, governors, service staff such as administrators.

What will you learn?

  • The importance of understanding the individual pupil and their profile of strengths and areas of development.
  • The key areas to help pupils on the autism spectrum build positive relationships with staff, peers families and people in the community.
  • An awareness of the sensory and communication differences that pupils may experience.

Please note that this training is offered to a closed group via Susan Paddon, Enfield & Barnet PATOSS only.  If you want to secure a place please contact beverleykafka@btinternet.com
