How to become an AET Partner

If you are interested in becoming an AET Training Partner, please follow the steps below:

1/ Contact AET to establish if your Local Authority territory is available for the relevant phase/s –

2/ Download and read through the following AET documents to support you with your application:

3/ Ensure that you have trainers to meet the phase-specific trainer criteria, with particular reference to the Lead Trainer requirements. A Hub’s Lead Trainer has overall responsibility for ensuring that the programme is delivered by trainers in a manner that is consistent with AET values, principles and policies and will undertake internal quality assurance processes to ensure good standards.

4/ Understand the technical specifications required to run the training materials.

5/ Consider your strategic delivery plan to demonstrate how you have the capacity & capability to roll out the AET programme across your territory with maximum impact, including the ability to fulfil the Hub Administrator role.

6/ Complete the AET Hub Application Form and send to the relevant Programme Manager

7/ If you need more information before completing the Hub Application Form, please contact your regional AET Programme Manager.

8/ All Hub Applications are checked and approved by both Programme Managers, with an agreement to either proceed or request more supporting information.

9/ Once a Hub Application has been approved, a licence agreement will be issued and arrangements made for key trainers to attend the next Hub Induction programme, held in March and September.
