The government has published a green paper on the future of the special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and alternative provision (AP) system and is undertaking a public consultation on the green paper’s proposals.

To achieve this ambition they would like to work with and hear from:

• children and young people
• parents and carers
• those who advocate and work with the SEND sector
• local and national system leaders

You are encouraged to consider the proposals set out in this green paper and respond to the consultation.

The survey is open until 11:45pm on 1 July 2022
