Welcome to our new partners

At the end of March, we welcomed 21 new partners to our ever growing community of training partners. As a result, education professionals can access our services in 73 local authority areas in England.

One of the distinguishing features of our programme is our delivery model. We seek out the best training delivery partners in every local authority area to make sure that our delegates get the benefit of the trainers’ in-depth knowledge and experience of the local context. Our partners become part of our AET community, we support them in their everyday work and they influence our programme with their feedback.

Our 21 new partners are joining a vibrant community of education professionals across England committed to helping autistic children and young people receive an education that enables them to fulfil their aspirations and engage in society as active citizens. We are extremely proud of all the dedicated trainers and partners who share our passion for autism education and look forward to working with them in the future.

Thanks to the recent expansion, our programme is now available in Camden, Hillingdon, Redbridge, Wandsworth, Wiltshire, North Somerset, Kent, Hampshire, Bristol, Kirklees, Bradford and East Riding of Yorkshire local authorities. Many of our existing partners have expanded their licence and added new phases to their AET portfolio. As a result, a wider range of AET support is now available in Enfield, Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire, Stockton-on-Tees and Durham local authorities.

Our goal is to extend our reach further and bring the AET programme to all local authorities in England and beyond. We welcome applications from professional organisations or individuals with experience in the field of autism education and knowledge of the local context. Most of our partners are local authority outreach services, teaching/specialist schools, colleges, universities, early years providers, multi-academy trusts, voluntary or private sector organisations. Contact us if you would like to join our community of dedicated training partners and help to make a real difference to the lives of autistic children and young people in your area.
