Your CV should be no more than two sides of A4. It should be concise and only contain details relevant to the job that you are applying for, including:
- Personal details (date of birth, where you live, contact details).
- Information about you and what kind of career you are looking for.
- Relevant qualifications.
- Previous work history.
- Hobbies and interests.
You can look on the internet or ask your Careers Advisor for examples of a CV and how it should be broken down.
Always ask someone to proofread your CV for you before you give it to potential employers.
