HAVE YOUR SAY: Share your views on the Government's SEND system

Have your say on the SEND system and alternative provision in England.

The government are seeking your views on their SEND System green paper: SEND review: right support, right place, right time (web-accessible PDF) and we're asking our network to contribute!

The Government recently set out its ideas for how to improve the education system for young people who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). It has launched a consultation period during which it will gather views on its proposals.

To achieve this ambition, they want to work with and hear from:

  • children and young people
  • parents and carers
  • those who advocate and work with the SEND sector
  • local and national system leaders

Ambitious about Autism Survey

The charity Ambitious about Autism wants to hear directly from autistic young people (aged 16 or over) and parents, carers or relatives of autistic children and young people about how the SEND system is currently working, and what is needed to improve it.

You can complete the charity’s short online survey to share your views. The findings will be shared with the Government’s SEND Review team. Those who complete the survey will have a chance to win a £50 shopping voucher.

The survey deadline is Monday 6 June 2022 at 10am.
