Tool 1 – Three Areas of Difference

This tool encourages you to consider the strengths and differences of an individual pupil and the impact of these differences on the pupil’s levels of anxiety. This will develop your understanding that “one size does not fit all” when planning approaches, adjustments and interventions to support a pupil.

This Tool will help you to:

  1. Understand that each pupil is an individual with their own profile of strengths and differences
  2. Identify and reflect upon overlaps between the Three Areas of Difference and how these may impact a pupil’s wellbeing
  3. Understand that a pupil may be impacted by their differences in alternative environments
